When the beans are ready, they are slow roasted in small batches for superior quality. Once our roaster determines that the beans have been roasted to your characteristics, they are cooled down and quickly packaged in the special packaging to maintain fresh taste and aroma. It takes great details by the local farmer to the roaster to make a world class coffee from a seed to a cup. The Lao coffee bean was first introduced by the French colonies in th early 1920's, Lao coffee beans are cultivated on the Bolavan Plateau in the southern region of the country. This area consists of rich volcanic soil in a high climate, creating perfect conditions for growing world class coffee, and thus, making Lao Coffee Brand the best tasting coffee in the world.
